World Alzheimer's Day Film Event: Ninaivirukkum Varai // Till The Last Memory

Join us at the screening of Ninaivirukkum Varai (Till the last memory) this World Alzheimer's Day 21st September 2018, as we bring the journey of dementia and the impact caregivers face to light. The screening will follow with a post-show dialogue with Yahssir M, Founder of Millenia Motion Pictures, on how the team uses film to highlight societal issues in our communities, and Melissa Chan, Founder of Project We Forgot, on the impact of dementia and caregiver experiences.

This event is part of Designathon We Remember 2018. Join in on various activities across the month of September and October 2018, as we view dementia from different perspectives, and explore how we can design for dementia.

Ninaivirukkum Varai // Till The Last Memory

Parvathy is an independent woman, whose two children are married and living separately. When Parvathy is diagnosed with dementia, she realises that she has limited time to spend with her children before she forgets them. Her daughter, Aksharah, is distant towards her as Parvathy was very critical of her. Will Aksharah be able to resolve her differences with Parvathy before Parvathy loses herself totally to the illness?
